A low sperm concentration on semen analysis needs careful interpretation — illness, heat, medicines and lab variation can all affect a single result.

Low sperm count means fewer sperm than reference ranges in the ejaculate. It may be mild or severe; azoospermia means no sperm seen. At Sree Nandaka we usually confirm with a repeat sample and look at motility and morphology together.
